Real Housewives of New Jersey – The Blogs

Jay Mohr hasn’t missed a week blogging, he also hasn’t missed bashing a cast member, at the beginning of the season it was Joey and Melissa, then he bashed Teresa and Joe Giudice but threw in Kathy and Richie as well here and there.  He’s been fairly kind to Jacqueline but he really laid into Ashley which did not make Jac very happy.  He has yet to bash Caroline but hold onto your socks, he got her this week!  From Jay’s blog:

Before the race, Joe Giudice immediately starts teasing Joey Gorga. This is pathetic because in the car he just said to Teresa, “I don’t start nuttin’!” We all just watched him start with Joey in front of all the others. It was uncomfortable. Joey Gorga should have fought back by having Melissa sing out loud.

Nice catch on the Joe Giudice thing but enough about Melissa’s singing already!  You don’t like her singing, we get it.

For some reason, Caroline quits. If you count the kickboxing class, this is the second time she has quit in camera. I have to call out momma Manzo. How can you make a living giving people advice if you quit when things get tough? You are the matriarch of a family of winners. Suck it up and close the deal!

There it is, for the first time this season Jay actually found something about Caroline to rip on, I have to admit I was a bit surprised at Caroline as well, I thought she’d give it the old College try!

Joey and Melissa go to Albie, Chris, and Greg’s house in Hoboken for a little party. It seems that Greg thinks Joey is as hot as I do. Back off Gregory, I called Joey Gorga and those eyes Week One! Get your own man. Melissa plays her song for the boys and they say they like it. Then they inexplicably ask Melissa to sing at their company’s launch party. Are they launching ear plugs?

The guy just never quits ripping Melissa’s singing!

The day of Milania’s birthday, Teresa is trying in vain to get Milania ready. It is a tough task because Milania treats Teresa like she’s the help. MIlania has a meltdown because she wants to change clothes. I don’t blame her since Teresa is trying to dress her like Punky Brewster. Milania’s party is at Joe Giudice’s pizzeria. It’s a far cry from limousines and cruise ships, but hopefully the fall is cushioned by the overall message: As long as you are with your family, everywhere is a place to celebrate. Melissa and Joey show up (late), and Joe Giudice suddenly gets very busy in the kitchen and can’t say hello to them. Gia has written a special song to her sister and it gets thunderous applause. (Melissa: Notice there was no Auto-Tune).

Once again digging at Melissa’s singing…augh!  Jay has already told us he won’t be bashing the kids (yet reminds us that Ashley is fair game as she’s 19 or 20) so he blames Teresa for the child’s meltdown, his reasons are wrong but his conclusion is correct.

Gia’s next song is dedicated to her mom and Uncle Joey and she bursts into tears the second she opens her mouth to sing it. It’s heartbreaking. It’s also angering to watch grown-ups act like they wear diapers (not the grown-up kind that Teresa and Jaqueline wore at the race. I mean baby diapers.) Maybe we should just go old school and have the two Joes settle their problems with a duel. They could step out into the streets of Caldwell and after ten paces, turn, and throw gravy at each other. It would be like Italian paintball. Gia breaks the entire season down with one sentence. Teresa tells Gia that her and her brother Joey love each other very much. Gia says, “THEN ACT LIKE IT!” Word to the Gia.

Jay has become really invested in this show, and he seems to genuinely care about the people on the show yet he’s pissed them all off to the point where few of them are speaking to him.  He even had a Twitter war with Melissa after this blog posted:

http://rumorfix.com/2011/09/jay-mohr-and-melissa-gorga-twitter-war/

Melissa Gorga seems to have taken a cue from Jacqueline as her blog this week is eight pages long.  There was no blog last week so we’ll cut them all a break for the extremely long blogs this week.  Melissa talks about the extreme negativity between her husband and Teresa’s husband:

What I hope you understand is that this has been happening for years, way before the Housewives. The tension between the Joes has been around before I entered the picture, but I guess it’s easier for Teresa to point the finger at me because she doesn’t want to blame her husband or her only brother, which I can understand.

Melissa wants us to know that there is a whole lot more to the feud between the Gorga’s and the Giudice’s, obviously years of history is involved and emotions run high.

More on the RHONJ Blogs coming soon!

Flipping Out Season 5 Reunion by BB

We find Andy Cohen and Jeff Lewis in Gramercy Place, Jeff’s residence for the second time. Jeff says he’s a little nervous about the therapy session they are about to have and Andy says he’s a little nervous about being fired since Jeff fired three people this season, his sister-in-law’s sister Sarah, his intern of three years, Trace, and one of his contractors, Randy. Jeff says he had reached his threshold with the nonsense. He says his business has changed dramatically in a good way, his income doubled between 2010 and 2011, and he has Gage to thank for that. Jeff says Sarah’s firing was expected. Trace’s firing was not.

They talk about the new house and Jeff says it’s a long term house. He evades the having the children question, but then says if he has a child it will be in Gramercy, with Gage and Zoila. Andy mentions that Zoila’s popularity has exploded this season and Jeff tells him he is Zoila’s agent and they have an agreement of a 90%/10% split, with Jeff getting 90%. One of the audience questions is whether Jenni, Zoila and Gage need Jeff more than he needs them. Jeff tells Andy that he probably needs them more than they need him, but of course, he tells them the opposite. Jeff tells Andy that he and Jenni had their share of troubles last year and he thought they were backing away from each other and that that would be it. After Sarah and Trace left, they just clicked again. It’s almost like they needed that year apart. Andy welcomes Jenni (Jenni looks great by the way). Jenni agrees they had a bad year and that through the divorce, they started dating again. Andy asks them what happened and Jeff said it’s too much to go into. Jeff felt that Jenni wanted more and stopped respecting him. Jenni tells Jeff not to use her auditions as an excuse. They both agree they work better together than apart. Jeff tells Jenni he appreciates her more now and Jenni tells Jeff she appreciate him. Andy asks Jenni bout her rap album. Jeff says she’s been talking about it for 4 years and it never happens. Andy says he’ll be interested to see if Jeff’s paint line happens. Jeff tells Andy the difference between he and Jenni is that when he says something is going to happen, it happens. A fan asks Jenni that if her entertainment career goes nowhere will she work for Jeff forever. She says yes, she loves working for him.

With Jeff and Jenni, Andy asks Jenni how Jeff has changed. She says he’s mellowed and flipping out less. Andy asks about the Cole design and Chaz Dean. Jeff says he was bummed about not getting the New York job and he is very grateful to Chaz for giving him work when he needed it and Chaz owes him nothing. He also says Chaz is uncomfortable around Jeff now and Jeff plans on sitting him down and having a conversation with him to let him know there is no bad blood and he has done enough for Jeff. Andy brings up Stacey Farish. Jenni tells Andy she has no idea why Stacey didn’t like her. Jeff says there was a lot of gossip going on between Trace and Sarah about Jenni and they were kind of jealous of Jenni when she came back and started going to clients’ houses with Jeff. Jeff suspects Sarah poisoned the waters with Stacey as far as Jenni is concerned. Jeff tells Andy Stacey is not his only client that has not liked Jenni and Jenni agrees. A viewer asks Jeff why he didn’t take up for Jenni sooner? Jeff admits he thought it was funny the way Stacey treated Jenni. He finally got tired of it and took up for her. Jenni thinks it took way too long for Jeff to stand up to Stacey. Jeff didn’t see it as abuse. Jenni uses the example that Stacey refused to let Jenni eat chips out of the bowl she and Jeff were eating out of as abuse. Another viewer asks if Jenni keeps in touch with her ex-husband. Jeff brings up the fact that he wanted Jenni to help pay for a credit card bill after three years and that he’s in his third marriage already. Jenni tells Andy she’s been dating a man for about a year and a half and her mom is happy he is Greek. She tells Andy she’s trying to keep him away from the crazy and that’s why he hasn’t been on the show. She says Gage didn’t come on the show for two years. Jenni happened to introduce Gage to Jeff.

Zoila joins Jeff and Jenni. Zoila looks great and feels great. Jeff tells Andy Zoila has changed and is having a lot of sex. Zoila says not too much and that she uses protection. Of course they go back and forth like they usually do and Jeff tells Andy that Lupe is still working for him. Andy asks Zoila if she is afraid Lupe is going to take over her job. Zoila says she’s not worried. She got the surgery and the car. Jeff tells Andy that Lupe will clean the house and Zoila will help take care of the kids when he has them. Zoila says she will need more money. Zoila says she is available and she is waiting for her prince.

Next Andy introduces Gage and it’s Gage and Jeff (without Jenni and Zoila). Gage says it’s been an out of body experience watching the season. Jeff and Gage are not into PDA at all. They are not discussing the bedroom when asked. Andy asks about Casey the dog’s interest in their love lives. Jeff says Casey has to leave the room now because it’s weird. They do not have lovey dovey nick names for each other. When asked, Gage says he thinks he will be able to live with Jeff for the rest of his life. Gage wants to get married eventually and Jeff says Gage wants the ring. Gage says he never wanted to be on TV, but Jeff says they had to have him in the show because Gage is largely responsible for the business becoming much more efficient and lucrative. Andy says there is a little bit of Lady McBeth in Gage from the viewer’s perspective. Gage denies it. Jeff says his business is running like it should be run and things needed to be done to restructure the business. Gage has no regrets because everything that happened really happened. He says the firings were ultimately Jeff’s decision.

Next up is Jeff with Sarah and Trace. Jeff apologizes to both of them for the set-up in Las Vegas where he expected them at the event, but didn’t really tell them it was expected. Sarah says Jeff came to her wedding and told her he loved her when he left. Jeff says he must have been drunk because he never tells anyone that. Sarah says she was surprised he said it to her too. Andy asks Jeff if he got any flak for firing Sarah. Jeff says Sarah’s dad said something to him at her wedding about doing it for the controversy of the show. Jeff said that is totally not true and tells Sarah she needs to tell her father the truth about what really happened. She says she did tell her father. Jeff really wanted it to work out with Sarah but he also tells Sarah that she violated her non-disclosure agreement by keeping in contact with his client, Stacey. Sarah thinks the agreement is that she can’t work for Stacey, but Jeff tells her no, the agreement is that she has no contacts with any of his clients. Next comes Trace. They go back and forth about what happened at the firing. Jeff gave Trace a chance to defend himself and he didn’t. It was not Jeff’s intention to fire Trace at that meeting. He felt that Trace was angling to start his own business and Jeff lost trust in Trace because he had gone through that with Ryan Brown. Trace thinks Jeff was fearful that he was going to excel with the clients and they would go straight to him instead of Jeff. Andy asks why Trace didn’t defend himself. Trace says he was shocked and didn’t know Jeff felt that way. Jeff asks Trace if he has amnesia about the other two meetings they had prior to that meeting. Trace thinks Gage had something to do with him leaving but he’s not pointing fingers. Jeff tells Trace he was planning on leaving soon anyway and he didn’t care about Jeff Lewis Design anymore. Andy asks Trace if he’s been in contact with any of Jeff’s clients since leaving. He says no. Jeff says he’s lying and that he has been in contact with Jeanne. Trace says he did call her when he was fired and Jeff says it’s been more than once. Jeff reminds Trace that he also broke the non-disclosure agreement, not that he’s going to do anything about it, but Trace is making terrible decisions and crossing over boundaries and he needs to learn from his mistakes. Andy asks if Trace wants to say anything else and he doesn’t think so. Jeff asks Trace for an apology. He finally apologizes and tells him he appreciates everything he has done for him and he’s only 23 and is going to make mistakes. Andy asks if they ever might work together again. Jeff reminds Andy that he has bought the same house twice and he goes back in life all the time and that Ryan could be sitting with him next season (I don’t think that’s gonna happen).

In the last scene, it’s Jeff and Jenni and they talk about their new show, Interior Therapy, where they live with people for a week and redesign their houses. Zoila also makes some appearances in the show. Andy asks Jeff if he has any regrets from Season 5 and he says he should have probably taken up for Jenni regarding Stacey sooner. Jenni regrets that Deb didn’t come to her defense and does an imitation of Deb. Jeff says he’d better be the one walking Jenni down the aisle and he better be on the invitation if Jenni gets married.

I like Jeff Lewis and look forward to his new show and a new season of Flipping Out.

I really enjoyed the reunion as well, thanks BB for the great recap!  Lynn~

Rachel Zoe Project by BB

At Rachel’s office, Rodger is meeting with Mandana, Jeremiah, Marisa and Kendall to talk about the editor event to show Rachel’s fall collection. It’s a three day event to show to editors and buyers her collection. Mandana doesn’t want to sit around the table and talk about how important it is. Rachel is not at the meeting because she needs to rest. Jeremiah is tasked with pulling the jewelry and he’s nervous about it. Mandana says a monkey could do it. Back at Rachel’s apartment, she says she LITERALLY cannot believe she’s going to New York and she can’t even wrap her head around it. She says she knows this will be her last trip and she can’t fly after this trip. She talks about the reality of being pregnant and it’s not just another job. She says being pregnant is just so “not chic.” Jeremiah goes to get jewelry and gets overwhelmed and has to call Mandana to find out what type of gold to get. He knows nothing about what he’s doing so he keeps pulling jewelry and sending pictures to Mandana. She says he did a good job and he hopes Rachel agrees with Mandana’s opinion.

In New York, Joey goes to help Rachel with her makeup and hair. She is getting ready for the Women’s Wear Daily shoot. Joey is using hair spray and Rodger tells him he’s killing his baby with the hair spray. Joey and Rachel hear a cell phone ring and they both say “is that me?” Rachel considers Joey her family because he’s brutally honest with her. Rachel is feeling the pressure of actually being a designer now and being judged. Joey says she only has one chance and if it doesn’t work out there is no next season. Rodger says if it doesn’t work out, she’ll be in her 50’s with a couple of kids still styling people. Rachel says she needs Joey in LA with her and she needs him around for the rest of her pregnancy because he always lightens up the situation. Apparently Joey is based in New York. They arrive at the WWD shoot to photograph her collection and the next day everyone will see it in print. Rachel is beyond nervous, but she can’t let it show. She is talking to the person doing the article and they want her to model her clothes along with the other models. She gets photographed wearing her collection. Jeremiah is fascinated by what Rachel does and he is learning so much. Someone calls her Rachel Berman and she repeatedly says that is not her name. The photo shoot is over and Joey asks Mandana about Jeremiah. He questions his background and seems a little jealous of Jeremiah, or maybe he’s just concerned about Rachel. Rachel is still very nervous about the next day when the article comes out. That night, Rodger is having dinner with Joey. Joey tells Rodger he’s excited about Rachel’s new line. Rodger tells Joey Rachel really misses him and needs him. They talk about Brad and how he did opposite from what he said he was going to do when he left. Brad said he was going to slow down and went right into business for himself. Joey tells Rodger he just ended a relationship and seeing Rachel and Rodger makes him think about making some changes. Rodger entices Joey with money and a car if he would come out to be with Rachel while she’s pregnant. Joey says he will think about it.

The next morning, Joey and Rachel get the WWD article and Joey tells Rachel it will make or break her. Rachel says “Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh, my God,” while opening the article. Rachel says “Oh my God” at least five more times. She can’t believe she’s seeing herself in WWD. The article is entitled, “Mother of Invention” and they are all, including Rodger, very pleased with it. Rachel says if people don’t like her collection, she still have a baby to look forward to. Joey says that’s a great way to look at it. They arrive at the presentation and Rachel is about to have a nervous breakdown. It’s chaos and Jeremiah is running around hoping he’s doing a good job. Rachel’s sister shows up and it calms her down that she’s there. Her sister gets very emotional about it. Jeremiah tweaks the arrangement of the presentation space because he doesn’t like the way it looks. He’s also having a panic attack about everything. Rachel thinks Jeremiah did a great job with the jewelry, but decides not to use jewelry at all because the clothes speak for themselves. Her sister wants her to think about the moment and how great it is. Rachel says she can’t think about anything because she’ll get too nervous. All the editors and buyers are waiting for the show to begin. Rachel starts the presentation and shares some of her thoughts about her line and how she came up with it. She says she didn’t want to be too trendy because she wants the pieces to last a long time. The time period that influenced her is the 60’s and 70’s. Everyone congratulates her afterward. She thanks Rodger and her team. She doesn’t personally name Jeremiah and he’s a little disappointed but realizes he’s new.  The next day she needs to convince the buyers to buy her collection.

Later, Joey and Jeremiah meet up for breakfast so Joey can check him out. They are wearing the same outfit. Joey asks Jeremiah how he likes working for Rachel. Joey says he needs to step up his game or she will forget him. Joey is not sure about Jeremiah and tells him he hope it works out, that he’s seen a lot of people come and go. Jeremiah realizes he needs to find his place in Rachel’s company and do it immediately. He doesn’t want it to get lost in the shuffle.

Rachel is hoping she gets a really big order for her fashion line. She meets with the fashion designer for Neiman Marcus and knows that his opinion is really important. She shows him her line and he makes some suggestions and thinks her first attempt shows good balance and gives her an A+ for her balance. He is planning on buying almost all of her collection. She also meets with Joe Zee of Elle Magazine. He gives Rachel and Rodger a picture from their photo shoot for Elle.

Rachel and her sister Pamela talk about her coming out with a maternity line. Rachel asks Pamela how to get prepared for the baby in the Jewish religion. Pam advises her that she needs to buy everything ahead of time, but not store it in the house. When she has the baby, the family will truck all the things to the house and the baby’s room. They talk about what’s going to happen during the birth. Rachel already knows she is going to have a C-section. Rachel is getting freaked out about how Pamela describes the C-section. Joey and Pam go shopping for Rachel’s baby and Joey says there’s no budget because it’s Rachel Zoe for Pete’s sake. He orders the baby some Jesus sandals for $105. Later at dinner with Joey and Pam, they tell Rodger they went shopping for the baby and Rodger asks Joey if he’s coming to LA. Rodger wants him to come out for three months for Rachel. Joey says he will be going to LA. Now Rodger has to figure out what to do with him since he’s the one who pushed so hard for him to come.

Thanks BB!  Love Rachel Zoe! :)  Lynn~

Morning everyone. I would like to point out that Ms. Zoe was not present at any of the three meals in last night’s show. Just sayin’

  3. Deco says:

Good Morning,to all and a special shout out to Mazel!!

  4. Baroness Beachcomber says:

Lynn, enjoyed your interview with Ramona on Rumorfix. Sounds like she’s really happy with life right now.

  5. housewifeaddict says:

    Morning,

Lynn – great Ramona interview. I can’t believe how candid she was about Jillzy,
BB – thanks for the recaps. I had a long day and fell asleep during Rachel Zoe. I googled her line – and it is in some of the top department stores.
As for Jeff Lewis – I’m still not like Gage at all – and feeling pretty bad for Chase. Those things Jeff listed off are pretty minor – and I think Jeff would be really hard to work for. He’s just such a baby at times – bickering with Sarah like that even when she was taking the high road. Deep sigh. He’s got some growing up to do but seems like he’s got a good heart.

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

Good morning, HWA. I’m probably the only one I know who actually likes Gage. I think he’s good for Jeff and Jeff’s business. Like Jeff said, Gage is probably more mature than Jeff and he’s like 14 years younger. I’m sure there is a lot more to the story with Trace, especially when Jeff mentioned the two prior meetings they had before the firing. Trace knows he screwed up a good thing. Nobody wanted Sarah to be successful at her job more than Jeff. She deserved her firing, no matter how nice she is.

      • housewifeaddict says:

I’ve got to admit I really don’t like Gage at all. I hope he turns out to be okay for Jeff – but he seems shady/shifty to me.

      • Trudie says:

I like Gage as well and believe he is good for Jeff’s business. Jeff needs someone to keep him in line and keep the business professional. Jeff likes to have fun with a little business thrown in. The fact that his income has doubled in a year IMO is due to Gage and his business sense.

        • MAMAZ says:

I like Gage too. Jeff seems really happy with him. I do think Gage is partly responsible for Trace and Sarah being fired but only because it was what was best for the business. I doubt if it was personal.

          • Pamela says:

I agree. Jeff has the design sense, but maybe not the business sense. Gage can play the bad cop to Jeff’s good(well you know what I mean, lol) cop.

Saw that on the news. Just people performing quiet miracles, as many of us are capable of every day.

Good morning, everyone! Can’t wait for more from Ramona. It must have been so fun to talk to her. Congrats, Lynn!

  9. AZGirl says:

Good Morning everyone. Congratulations Lynn on your interview with Ramona.

@Nancy: Sorry to miss the game last night. I crashed really early. Up yesterday at 4 a.m. and this morning at 4 a.m. to get to 5 a.m. cycle class. I have to be in the office early this week. I would have loved to have seen where Dad is resting.

  10. HD says:

Way to go with the Ramona interview, Lynn. I know that is driving Jill crazy which always makes me happy. I wish you the best. You seem to really be making a name for yourself in the blogging world!

  11. Rory B Bellows says:

sorry but i NEVER thought jay mohr was funny EVER………..

anybody know where taylor is? hint….(kim does)

    • Sara says:

He’ll come out w/a one-liner that will get me now and again, but I just can’t tolerate a guy who will get into a catfight w/a woman. It’s just way too childish. Jay’s been dishing it out Melissa since she came on the show. She calls him out on it and he slugs her hard right below the belt – twisting her words to try to fuel bad feelings between her and Teresa. Why did he have to go there? He’s a fool and a drama queen. I have zero interest in what he has to say about these shows. As far as I’m concerned, he’s in the same bin w/that idiot who publishes for HuffPo.

    • thedesigndiva says:

Rory…CHARLIE has her in his traveling bag…. strings are being repaired….

      Diva

  12. plainviewsue says:

I have found Jay’s blogs to be laugh out loud funny, but this last one really did annoy me. Like you said, yes Jay, we get it. You don’t like Melissa’s singing. Personally, I think she has the best voice of the housewives and her song is very catchy. But to go on and on and on about that got very tiresome.

I think Jay is afraid of Caroline. The line he said about her giving up was nothing compared to the stuff he’s said about the others.

Loved the interview with Ramona. Jill must be FLIPPING OUT!!!!

    • housewifeaddict says:

Kandi has the best voice LOL – we always forget about her because she’s the real deal.

I don’t think Melissa is awful – not Kim Z or LuLu or Simon cringeworthy category. She’s in the medium category for me – nice enough voice but not exceptional.

  13. fargo fan says:

Why do all “celebrities” think they can come out with a clothing line and that everyone will just eat it up? I’m not saying I dont like Rachel’s clothes, she has some nice pieces but I would never buy it! Granted some people are fashion forward but I live in FARGO, not only are the pieces totally unpractical for 3/4 of the year (between the snow and cold) but they are expensive. A lot of the middle class cannot afford a $500 shirt. Why dont designers realize that and sell some nice affordable people, especially ones that dont let your ass hang out because they are so short.
Missoni’s line for Target practically sold out within hours, hello, get a clue designers! We want affordable things that are wearable for our office jobs, not the club.

    • housewifeaddict says:

I think her line might fit the demographic she is aiming for. Rachel isn’t like Sheree or Alexis IMO – she really lives and breathes fashion, and knew she was aiming for upper end department stores. Since they bought the line and are selling the clothes – I assume she knew what she was doing. There must be a different universe of women out there who love to buy fake fur and impractical clothes that you only wear once.

      • fargo fan says:

Yeah, I guess I can see that about Rachel since she is SO into fashion, but I still would get totally made fun of for wearing faux fur to work. Or those super high waisted pants.
Guess I will stick to my jeans from Vanity and my sweaters from the Old Navy or the Gap or if I get lucky, ones that are actually made for girls over 5’6″. They seem cute on the models just standing there but if you try to sit down in anything your butt hangs out because they are too short.

        • girlygirlnyc says:

          Hey Fargo!

I grew up in Fargo, too! Is Vanity still open in West Acres? I loved that store back in the day!

    • HD says:

Beyonce’s mom started a line at Target that is very inexpensive too. They need to really get a clue.

I did like Rachel’s jackets from what I saw last week but I know I can’t afford that stuff. I also saw her on HSN or QVC -one of those- this week selling some of that faux fur and that kind of bohemian chic look stuff. Those things were a little pricey too but not too bad.

  14. disgazia4 says:

Good morning all. Alway’s a pleasure to read your news Lynn. Thought I’d find your take on the twitter war Maleficent waged (and lost, yeah!) on Jay. He can do no wrong in my eyes. He, like most of the people here, has well voiced opinions that are very funny.

Ramona. I like her and alway’s have, probably because I’ve gotten into trouble for things I’ve said to people on occasion. She’s right though, own what you say and move on, really what else can do do. The alternative is to be like Jill and we all see what that gets you. Even now, if Jillousy stopped fronting and started being real, I could like her again. One thing I’ve learned from most of these reality shows is that human beings are bungling fools who often get it wrong. Now I’m trying to think of any Housewives/husbands I could never forgive. Probably ( I’m too old to say never lol) Danielle, Joey (Gorganzola, that is), maybe Kelly are just a little too toxic for my taste.

I know many are shocked and amazed about my take on Joey but I stand firm in the belief that he hides a side of himself that is better left hidden. That manic front he gives the world is not enough to hide the cracks revealed to the viewer of the perverse pleasure he takes from laying his sister low on TV. Of course I’m referring to the bookstore scene primarily. Teresa can do whatever he asks; it will never be enough for him. He will always try to force her to bend her back before him as he dangles his hoops and carrots always just out of her reach, SMH. How many times has he said to her, We can never have a relationship until…? Little Boots was Caligua’s nickname. JMHO. Messy is smarter than either sibling. I don’t care for her because she’insults my intelligence with her inauthentic TH crap and her blog spinning. I don’t buy it but many have. Oh well, time will tell I guess.

Everyone have a great day. I pick up my niece from the airport today and my daughter will be so surprised when she comes home from school!! David, MY brother, I love you and thanks for loving me and NEVER treating like that disgrazia treats his own sister. Muah, muah!!

    • WindyCityWondering1 says:

Watching Joey Gorga torture his sister at the book signing was disgusting. After he compared the pain that Gia is feeling to his own I just tuned him out. It was clear from the first episode while watching him yell at his parents that he never grew up. He isn’t cute, funny, caring or intelligent – I’d rather clean my cats’ box then watch or listen to him.

      • Whoopibella says:

Arrested Development is the best way to describe Joey Gorga, IMO. Still the lil brother who believes he should be treated like king of the toy box. Real life is not about play things – Joe. I could never ever yell and scream at my parents in public and you did so in front of a camera crew, embarrassing.

    • Called A Princess... says:

disgazia4… Thank you, a voice of reason in the casino.

    • Donna says:

Praise God and pass the ammunition! At last, I am not the only one that sees through boy Joey Goo goo!

  15. OneMoreInBoston says:

Off to the coal mines- everyone have a fabulous day

  16. RealMinkey says:

    Congrats on the interview, Lynn!

Ramona is right… Jill is a very unhappy person. I believe she always has been.

    • Trudie says:

Jill reminds me of the child who never felt like she got enough in life. Not enough love, presents, friends, etc. Haven’t bothered to look into her family (and don’t want to) but she seems to suffer from middle child syndrome.
Always afraid someone is going to get a bigger piece of pie.

      • thedesigndiva says:

Trudie…. Even if you had the crappiest of childhoods it is still no excuse to grow up and be a CRAPPY ADULT….
Pet peeve of mine..people who complain about not having enough as children or mary got the good clothes I got the hand me downs mommy loved you more than me…. GEEZ…
JZ should get down on her knees ( not for baubles ) and thank the Good Lord for what she has..be grateful that she has the ability to live life comfortably compared to most of us who TRULY suffer to make thru the day…… She is a SELFISH BITCH ..may she never have to cry herself to sleep because of the pain her body is in.. or worry about having $$ for food…or worry about not having a Dr to mend all your body aches….or try to figure out why you lost a child…..SHE IS A SELFISH BITCH….If I ever met her in person I would PUNCH her in the stomach…… I wont say I hate her cause thats not how Mother raised us….. But she never said I couldnt call a Woman a BITCH if the shoes fit……

        Okay I feel better now….wink

off to say some Hail Marys……and a few glory bes for safe measure….

        Diva

        • Empress of FOD Farm says:

ITA Diva! A whole lot of unhappy childhoods in the world. She now has everything a woman could want and still isn’t satisfied.
          Dear Jill,
          1. Get a good shrink.
          2. Get some good meds.
          3. Tell Mommy to F&#@ Off if she can’t be happy with/for you.
          4. Thank your lucky stars for your life. One out of six people in this country live in poverty.
          5. Anger/envy – BAD; gratitude, contentment, happiness – GOOD
Follow these simple steps, and maybe you can sleep at night and stop tweeting quotes.
          Best wishes,
          The Empress

          • Sara says:

I think that JZ is one of those types that just can’t benefit from therapy. She has a bad core – it’s who she is and always will be. But, I’d love to know that her daughter is in therapy and learning to build a happy life, sense of self, relationship, secure and satisfying place in the world.

            • Empress of FOD Farm says:

ITA, Sara. The first thing you need to do before starting therapy is to acknowledge you have a problem. Not our Jill…

        • Trudie says:

Diva, please don’t think I was championing Jill – can’t stand her and I agree with everything you said!

  17. Cusi77 says:

Thank you Lynn! Fantastic job BB, Thanks!

@OneMoreInBoston_ may I ask Lynn for your Email? I need to talk to you.

    Cusi

    • Cusi77 says:

Congratulations Lynn! What a great interview with Ramona Singer! Love it, love it! I am so happy watching you GROW and grow! As always delightful reading you in Rumor!

  18. Dame Rhetorica says:

Happy Birthday OMIB & Dickens! The following are events that share your special day:

1951 – Anheuser-Busch began the creation of a national network of breweries. The first new brewery was opened in Newark, New Jersey.

2011 – Joe Guiduce began fell asleep at the wheel while driving home and then chugged a keg because he was so rattled.

Today is the blessing of holy water at Mount Athos. The water gushes forth at a holy water font only on days when it is to be blessed.

2011 – Rich Wakile also bottled holy water. The water gushes forth at his sink faucet only on days when Theresa will be entering his home.

1879 – * Margaret Sanger, American birth control advocate, was born.

It is a little known and well hidden fact, that Theresa Guiduce has been giving Milania crushed up birth control pills in her cereal every morning since she was 2 years old.

  19. RealMinkey says:

A bit off topic and trivial, but anyway…
Why did it take moving into the 7000 sf dream house for Kyle to have a place to hang her wedding photo? There were no walls in her old place?
I think Kyle’s portrayal of her life is fake, through and through.

    • WindyCityWondering1 says:

Glad she finally got her “dream” home – that is so cool that she would drive by it and now gets to live in it and raise her family there. I don’t think she is fake as much as she is trying to do too many things for too many people at the same time. And she is too damn perky and flippant for me!

      • RealMinkey says:

I love her new house, but can’t stand her.

      • RealMinkey says:

I don’t see that she’s doing too many things for others at all. She has kids. So do a lot of us. She’s sacrificed at least one friendship so that she could take “Taylor” on as a project. We haven’t seen her do anything constructive to help her own sister who clearly has problems. (Maybe she has tried, but we haven’t seen any evidence of it.) We haven’t seen her take part in any volunteer work. She’s coddled and spoiled by her husband, who also seems to taken on his share with the children. What I mostly can see that she does is for her own benefit, and for the benefit of any camera that might be pointed her way.

        • Nancy says:

          RM,
ITA. Something is wrong with this picture.
          More will be revealed.

        • Called A Princess... says:

Kyle is an actress after all, maybe not a good one, but an actress. It is a different type of animal. She is also really pushy. We know that her taste in friends is not good because she is friends with Faye Resnick who really is morally bankrupted. Faye, you make my skin crawl.

    • Pantry Viewer says:

She is extremely fake to me. She sure has to repeat over … and over … and over again how Marcio (or whatever his name is) and her marriage are the envy of all. She’s so nauseatingly smug when she says it, just strikes me as weird that she has to say it all the time.

  20. LavaLady says:

One More In Boston – It’s your birthday. Have a great day and an even better year!

  21. shadowsmom says:

I love Jay’s blogs. I find him funny and usually spot on. Melissa started this when she got angry at Gregg for tweeting Jay and called Mohr an A..hole. The she tried to play innocent and victim by claiming she thought they were kidding. It was already too late. Since her PR company, who should be advising her with things like this also put themselves in the middle they were are of no use. The PR company (I use the term loosely since they only seem to do PR for the Gorgas, the Marco sisters and Melissa’s make-up artist) needs to step up their act and learn how to spin. Inserting yourself in the problem is not what a professional company would do to help their client.
It is all a joke, except to the Gorgas.

Mohr doesn’t like her voice…so what? many people don’t. His job is to snark and Melissa and Joe makes it easy. They are like caricatures. I agree her voice is better than the rest but everything is relative. Her voice is not great. I think she was expecting everyone to love her this year and Soul diggaz to make her the next Beyonce. Neither worked out quite like she wanted. And his snark mat

She needs a thicker skin if she is going to put this out there. Even her sisters started to go after him then her sister Kim said she was boycotting him. His response, you can’t follow me and boycott at the same time. Boy those marco sisters really aren’t very bright. Joe Gorga really did marry his sister’s clone.

    • Dogfeathers says:

I think that as the baby of her family, for her entire life, Melissa has only heard how wonderful she was, how talented she was, and how beautiful she was. And she saw Tre get this show, and was incredibly jealous. She lobbied to get on the show, came out with guns blazing and then was stunned when everybody who watched didn’t think she was as fabulous as she believes she is. In fact, they called her a bully and spoiled and a fame whore.

She doesn’t have a fabulous voice. Joey loves her, and thinks she’s amazing, and that’s great for her. Her sisters are fiercely protective of her, and nobody can understand why the world isn’t running out to buy her song and are actually saying it sucks. Because it does. I can’t carry a tune, but I could do a decent job with auto tune.

Jay is paid to snark on everybody, and he does. Caroline has gotten a pass until this week, but she hasn’t really had much of a story line this season. He was right, she signed up for a reality show. What did she think was going to happen? Probably that she was going to go on this show, everybody would realize how fabulous she was, and she would be rich and famous and the world would love her. And because she’s on a trashy reality show (I’m just as addicted as everybody else is), she will never be thought of as classy.

I’m not a big Tre fan, so I’m not bashing Melissa because I love Tre. I don’t like Melissa and I think she’s as much of a problem in this feud as Tre, Joey and Juicy. Classy people don’t go on reality tv. We like our trash, that’s why it’s popular.

      • Dogfeathers says:

Oh, and I still hate Jill Zarin. And I love this website!

      • chismosa says:

I don’t know how people objectively can say Melissa does NOT have a good voice. I don’t watch all those singing shows on tv so i dont regularly listen to real people in real-time sing accapella so to me imho she has a great voice.

I think Jay could have gone after Caroline’s strange treatment of her kids, esp. of Lauren

ps i dont think Joey or Melissa really care if people ‘buy’ her song- i dont think any of these hw’s do these *songs* to make money. They can’t live on that, they don’t sell that much. It’s more for notoriety i feel, and in Mel’s case imho- for fun. Something she’s always liked to do.

        • JenFromCincy says:

If Melissa didn’t care if people buy her song or not, then why would she say that Jay is taking food out of her mouth and not Teresa’s? Jay’s never gone after Joey as a businessman, so the only thing she could have been referring to was her single.

          • chismosa says:

i dont follow the twitter ‘feuds’- it’s truly so juvenile. But i dont know, if she’s referencing that- i mean yes i suppose she’d get some sales- surely some mp3s will be downloaded at 1$ a pop, but i dont think she thinks of herself as the new Kandi, etc. I dont think she DOESN’T think she’ll sell anything, just that it won’t be that much. Jay is a jacka$$ through and through, no matter which HW he attacks.

  22. WindyCityWondering1 says:

Jay Mohr enjoys reviewing the RHNJ and none of them are safe from his brand of humor. His hat fetish cracks me up (potholders and cat burglers) and considering he is off limit on the little kids he has to be dying to comment on the Guidice girls circus/flowergirls gone wild outfits. He is the only reason I check in at RHNJ blog – the rest of the bazillion pages of babble I just can’t read.

  23. Dwight Schrute says:

One thing I didn’t like about Jeff Lewis during the reunion was each time someone else was asked a question, they’d get a few words out and he’d take over and answer for them. Especially with Jenny & Zoila.

I never cared all that much for Sarah but she had a pretty good insight into what went wrong in that she was hired as a stylist, which she was apparently good or okay at, then moved into more of a personal assistant position (probably when Jenny left) which wasn’t her strong suit.

Both Andy and Jeff asked Trace why he really didn’t say that much when confronted. I have to admit I’m the same way. I’m not that quick on my feet and need to assess and gather my thoughts before forming a response. Once I’ve analyzed it and gathered my thoughts I’m okay and can speak to it. I’m not like Jill Z. I don’t need my notes!

    • Sara says:

And it was pretty clear that Jeff was in attack mode and Trace has seen him do it to others. He was prepared to deal with it by stepping out of the line of fire. I don’t blame him. He probably should have just left when his internship was completed.

      • Called A Princess... says:

Jeff Lewis is a bully that needs all the attention on himself. It’s his show and everybody else is just a bit player. He calls people names and then tells them not to take it personal. But if you look at him just slightly the wrong way, your are an ungrateful “A$$hole.” Also we talk about Taylor’s lips, what about Jeff”s . His lip’s are very strange looking, to me. Jeff and Gage make a odd couple. ‘Pinky and the Brain’ comes to mind.

  24. MazelnIndy says:

OMIB!!!! Happy Birthday to you!!!!! How are we celebrating today???

    • 2Stupid says:

Happy Birthday OMIB. Hope when you’re done at the “coal mines” you can kick back with a SGM or a Ramona pinot!

  25. smompy says:

Happy B-Day OMIB & Dickens, and congratulations to Lynn on that Ramoner interview! Ya gotta love Ramona’s candor.

Who is Maleficent and what is a Twitter War? Actually, never mind. I don’t think I really want to know:)

  26. Dwight Schrute says:

Should have read the Ramona article before I commented earlier.

Great article Lynn! Only criticism is that it pulled me right in and I wanted it to go on forever. I have to wonder if you’re again going to be the focus of an episode next season. Will Bawby Zarin go to Ramona and Mario asking why they’re involved with hate bloggers! ; )

    • Sara says:

Ramona won’t apologize or make excuses, she’ll shut that sh&t right down.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA – Ramona doesn’t see this blog as a hate blog and maybe if Bobby had read it instead of taking his hatemonger wife’s word for it he would have seen that too.

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

I hope so. More publicity for Lynn!

    • Dee Dee says:

I dont think Ramona cares what JZ or BZ think, you know Ramona she’ll talk to and do what she wants, especially if its publicity for the show. Gotta love that Ramona.

  27. Sam says:

Regarding the Twitter War article at RumorFix: as posters in the comments section there have pointed out, Melissa started the war, by making a very nasty remark about Jay that was left out of the article.

Lynne, I love you, but as a professional writer I’m big on journalistic integrity, and I can’t condone ‘sins of omission.’ Be sure you lay out all the facts in your articles, even ones that run contrary to your opinions of those involved, and trust that if you present your positions skillfully enough, your readers will agree with you anyway.

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

I certainly cannot speak for Lynn, but I was under the impression that she is a blogger, not a journalist and there is definitely a difference. And I’m not sure that Lynn writes her blogs so that others will agree with her. It’s just her opinion and how she sees things. The commenters can point out any alleged omissions she may have made in her blog. And the fact that she doesn’t censor anything the commenters have to say proves that she doesn’t really care if others agree with her opinion or not and she respects their opinions regardless whether she agrees with them or not. Just how I see it.

      • Sam says:

IMHO, once you begin writing articles for magazine-type websites, you’ve moved beyond the realm of being “just a blogger” — and I’m proud of Lynne for having done this. It’s not an easy transition to make.

As to laying out all the facts, since Lynne’s articles are opinion pieces, I don’t expect her to be 100% objective. (Such pieces are, by definition, intended to sway people’s points of view.) But I do expect her to give readers the fully story, so that their reactions to the incidents being reported are based on what really happened. (And I wouldn’t expect her to censor any of these reactions, because she doesn’t strike me as the sort of person who condones censorship.)

I’m also aware of the negative opinions of Lynne elsewhere on the Internet, and as someone who likes her, I don’t want to see her give those “haters” any ammunition. Leaving out facts as important as the one she left out in the Twitter War article will undoubtedly do this — and it will cast doubt on the accuracy of future reports, even in the minds of casual readers. (That is, readers who fall in neither the “hate her” nor the “love her” camp.)

But you’re right; she’s free to do as she pleases, and I can only pretend to know what compels her to write. Perhaps I’m just projecting onto her what I’d expect of myself, as a professional, if I were to get into Internet writing.

        • shiny14 says:

          Hi Sam – missed you.

          • Sam says:

            Hi Shiny!!!

You are so nice! I missed you too. :-) And if we lived down the street from each other, we’d probably be having coffee together this very minute — but in YOUR kitchen, since mine is nothing but a big empty box right now.

A hot-water pipe burst under the floor a couple of weeks ago, and after much wrangling with the insurance company we’re getting everything redone. You never saw such a mess in your life!

Of course, the kids are thrilled because we’re stuck eating nothing but take-out until everything is finished — but my Jenny Craig counselor isn’t too happy about this!

            • vilzvet says:

Wow, that sounds like a big pain in the a$$. I would hate to lose my kitchen.

              • Sam says:

Yeah, it’s been horrible, especially since it wasn’t something I planned. I’m swamped with work right now and just don’t have time to deal with a construction project.

        • Baroness Beachcomber says:

I see where you are coming from. I’m not familiar with the twitter war example so cannot speak to that. I respect that you are trying to be of assistance by preventing giving her detractors any ammunition, but alas, there will always be haters no matter what because Lynn is one of the most popular and well known bloggers and there are some jealous people out there just wanting to knock her down. She will always be under close scrutiny because of that.

          • Sam says:

Thanks for seeing my point, Baroness! I was just trying to be helpful, but afterwards I was afraid my tone was a little snotty. I’m running on very little sleep right now, and I’m afraid it’s showing in my writing.

(I had to get up at 4 a.m. to take a shower, because the contractors working on my house warned me yesterday that the water would be off all day, and they start work EARLY.)

And you’re right about the haters. They’ll always find ways to attack. I just don’t think we should make it too easy for them, you know?

        • WindyCityWondering says:

I don’t twitter and I don’t like twitter wars or the warriors who spill into this blog when they are going after Lynn. That said – I have to agree that omitting the first salvo in the Jay/Melissa incident does change the way I would form my opinion on the whole affair. Melissa, to her manager, chided him for being nice to Jay on twitter and called Jay an asshole – and the war is on. Lynn’s opinion is hers and she accepts that posters here don’t always agree with it. Lynn reads what is written here and will likely comment on this – she does come back and correct information, she does change her opinion as well and many saavy posters share their finds that help us all see a bigger picture.

          • Pghemtchick says:

Both Mel & Jay were wrong. Sure they just stated opinions (IMO) up until Jay twisted and stirred the pot. I think Jay could have retaliated different in the end. I wouldn’t have been annoyed with it if he ended it with something humorous. I would have even laughed, but when he twisted it to be a family comment a line was crossed. Mel isn’t innocent either, but why add fuel to a raging fire.

          • Sam says:

I don’t twitter (tweet?) either. I’m afraid that if I start doing it, I’ll never get anything else done! (I can become hooked on time-wasters pretty quickly.)

And yes, it does seem like the bigger picture always emerges eventually. I’ve never come across better researchers than Housewife fans!

  28. Empress of FOD Farm says:

OT, but Anderson Cooper is interviewing his mom on Monday on his new talk show. Gloria is 87 now, and he is obviously in awe of her and holds her in the highest regard. She is going to talk about her life, including her horrible childhood, the death of AC’s dad when AC was 10 and the suicide of AC’s brother.
I think it’s syndicated – it’s on at noon here on NBC.

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

That will be an interesting interview and I will make it a point to either watch or record it for later viewing. Thanks for letting me know.

      • Empress of FOD Farm says:

Knowing Ms. Vanderbilt’s background (and AC’s for that matter), she has every reason to be BSC and yet chooses to go on with her life and still finds happiness. People like Lulu, Kelly, Jill, Taylor, etc. could learn a lot from this real woman with “class” and dignity.

  29. happygal says:

Happy Birthday to OMIB woo hoo and to Dickens woo hoo. May you both enjoy your days and Relax!

Lynn so enjoyed the interview with Ramona- a real catch as the style was so engaging, honest and open. There was no agenda… just ot people talking to each other- the best type of interview a reader can have.

Found a little something last night about our favorite KooKoo – she has a new BFF
and I think she can really relate to her…. Eden Wood from Toddlers and Tiaras:

i was reading all of my sites and caught this latest endeavor for Kelly KooKoo: She is hosting a Fashion show for Fashion week with the retired Toddler and Tiara star- EDEN WOOD! OMG- They have soooo much in common, a match made in heaven… i am so happy for KooKoo because she has finally found someone who can really get her!
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/13/eden-wood-kelly-bensimon_n_960141.html

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

Eden may already be a little too mature for KKB. I’ve seen her on Toddlers and Tiaras and she really know hows to handle herself in public, with poise, manners and grace, unlike KKB

      • Baroness Beachcomber says:

        knows how. Lol

      • happygal says:

Oh I agree… I think Eden and her mom could give PR 101 updated training to KooKooaroo.
By The way Missy miss, really terrific recaps from you. I sometimes don’t get to see the shows, so i know if I come here you, MS BB will hook me up :) thanks!

        • Baroness Beachcomber says:

You’re welcome. I try to include most everything that happens for those that don’t watch but want to keep up.

    • Pghemtchick says:

I really fear for Eden. Don’t take the gummibears, kid! I’m surprised Kel-Kel isn’t jealous of the cutie poototie. I mean Eden has is all right? Books, fans, songs, and youth. Real youth not crazy 40-something acting 10.

  30. icantstandthetoxicity says:

Kelly wants to meet Lynn in person?!?! LOL

    From Twitter:

I loved the interview with Ramona. I can’t wait to hear more about your conversation with Ramona. :)

    • happygal says:

We have heard that before… Lynn called her bluff and she didn’t respond last time. Me thinks she is Jealous of Lynn’s terrific interview with Ramona and all of the positive responses they are going to get, tee hee, and now she thinks she will come and play with Lynn. But I bet she doesn’t follow through as she knows she will not be able to handle it.

      • justanothermary says:

Besides, wouldn’t her bff JZ blow a gasket if she gave Lynn an interview? I’d be JZ isn’t too happy about KK even tweeting Lynn.

      • Baroness Beachcomber says:

I’d love for KKB and Lynn to meet for a talkie-talk, but I’m sure that’s not gonna happen. KKB wouldn’t be that courageous. But I think it would be smart of KKB and Jill and Luann to let Lynn interview them. It would show they don’t take IHJZ too seriously, which we all know they do, big time. I think this blog consumes Jillousy.

    • RealMinkey says:

Lynn, if you do meet up with her, you simply MUST take her a gift bag. Lol.

    • Sara says:

She’s all talk. Lynn’s given her opportunities to set up a meeting and she doesn’t follow through. She’s afraid of Lynn – no handlers……out of her comfort zone….where’s the gummi bears?!?!?!?

      • MAMAZ says:

She wants to meet Lynn on the show H8ters. This show is for “stars” to confront hate bloggers. It will be edited in favor of the celeb. I would not advise Lynn to go on this show with or without a gift bag, lol.

  31. Amber...Real Wife says:

    Great blog ladies!

    OT

KateGosselin… Welcome to America and have a nice effing day! After years of living well and providing for her children via RealityTV, FertileMyrtle is now fearing having to get a normal job! Really?!! While banking money off her show, guest appearances, books, speaking engagements and tabloid exclusives the UberMom, who criticized her EXJohn for Just working Construction, is terrified she wont be able to maintain her current lifestyle for “her children”. She says she NEEDS another TV gig as a ‘regular’ job will not help support her children.

Did she think it would be “KatePlus8-TheCollegeYears”? Did she not make provisions for when her 15 minute gravy train would come to a screeching halt as it has for all the others? Kate’s Private 24hr security details, countless nannies, thousand dollar hairdos, designer gear and 2seater sportscars were a necessesity then (yeah right) but while downsizing she still has kept her bodyguard, a few nannies, her extensions and the car. Oh the horror! My thoughts are why she didn’t own that house outright? Working for TLC for years, her show anchoring their reality programming why didn’t she insist on that financial security for her children after year…3?

Kate refuses to go away. She will not go off quietly into the good night, as she now feels entitled to her jet setting lifestyle. As she continues looking for TVWork, who will hire her, who will watch and who will care? Maybe now she wont be as disdainful of OCTOMOM, especially if she’s forced to get government help. Buckle down Kate, downsize and raise your kids!

  32. Pghemtchick says:

Oh no! Michaele Salahi is missing! From TMZ- Michaele Salahi has been kidnapped…husband claims. –

” Real Housewives of D.C. ” star Tareq Salahi believes his wife Michaele Salahi was abducted in Virginia yesterday … but he’s afraid the cops aren’t taking the situation seriously … TMZ has learned. TMZ just spoke with Tareq … who tells us he last saw Michaele at their home around 11 AM ET yesterday … right before he left to go to their winery.  Tareq says Michaele told him she was going to get her hair done — but she never went to the appointment … and she’s been missing ever since. Tareq claims he got a phone call from Michaele late last night … from an unfamiliar Oregon cell phone number … and she told him she was going to her mother’s house, located minutes away from the Salahi home.  Tareq says he was suspicious — so he called Michaele’s mother … who told him she hadn’t spoken with Michaele and was unaware of her plans.  That’s when Tareq — fearing Michaele had been abducted — called the Warren County Sheriff’s Dept. for help. But Tareq claims deputies told him she had already called them — informing them she was OK and just dealing with some “family issues.” Tareq tells TMZ … he believes Michaele had been FORCED to make the phone calls by her abductor … and believes she is in very real danger … especially because the Salahis have received death threats in the past. Tareq says he’s considering going to other law enforcement for help because he feels the Warren County Sheriffs are not taking proper action. A rep for the WCSD tells TMZ cops are not releasing any info about the situation at this time. Tareq has issued a statement saying, “We are reaching to the public pleaing [sic] desperately for your help.” He continues, “It is our belief as of last night, that Michaele Salahi may have been kidnapped or abducted and being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities she is okay.” “We are asking the public to please be on the look out for her, and if found please contact the authorities and please approach her and contact the authorities to intervene and that she may be forced to say she is okay, when in fact she is not and being held under possible abduction. The Salahi family can be reached at 540-635-9933.”

    What next?

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

Wow. Just when I thought their lives couldn’t get any more bizzare. If it’s true that she’s been abducted (which I seriously doubt) then I hope she is found safe and sound even if I detest her. If it’s a hoax perpetrated by the Salahi’s, for shame, for shame, for shame. If she just wants to get away by herself, maybe she’s coming to her senses that her life as been a farce and it’s time to get real. Isn’t it sad that I would even consider this a hoax perpetrated by the Salahi’s?

      • thedesigndiva says:

BB…boy I really hate what my gut is telling me on this one… I read an article a few days ago…will have to do internet history to find it…BUT…… it was along the lines of all the attention being paid to taylor and salamis name being mentioned….as them also being grifters…..peas in a pod etc….I hope this story doesn’t come out like I am feeling….Only time will tell…..

emt2… I am still searching..It was an offbeat article in the world of money news…about hos russell and taylor had scammed some interior designer and supposedly bought a house in beverly hills and started remodeling it….. the guy had to pay them 75k to get rid of them…. It’s bizarro indeed…..then salahis were mentioned about being the same type of grifters and that video she posted in some one elses house to get on HWS…..

exactly, katLG. they are trying to control discussion. Kyle tweeted that her blog would be up a few days ago but it isn’t.

        • ramonater says:

What I don’t understand is why they feel a need to control it – what’s different now? They blogged pretty timely last season.

          • emt2 says:

because of the Russell situation, I think. They are trying to guage how the public is reacting to the show and trying to control the amount of discussion that goes on. They always edit comments for the blogs but I would imagine how big of a task that would be considering Russell’s death. Also, in the comments section is where a lot of ‘insider’ information (or researched information) is introduced. I think they just want to control info.

I have a question for Patti Stinker: Why do you sit your dirty butt on the desk? It is not cute or sexy…it is just gross. Once her “Matchmaker” show is over (soon, I hope) Patti could co-host with Suzie Ormoan, a show I’d like to pitch” “You’re Ugly/ You’re Stupid” Andy the smirk could be M.C. and host the drinking game as the Millionaires/Millionaire Seekers are berated. Some fun.

Another idea: Kate and her 8 could share a duplex with Octomom, and Jill Zarin and “Countess” would be the live-in nanny/housekeepers. No show, just a nanny cam with live feed to watch the suffering.

  46. Stella says:

Michaele Salahi might have been taken but given their history I say it sounds like a stunt and if in fact she called the police to let them know she is okay I think that is their way of covering their a$$ so that if it comes out that it was a scam she coul say she had to get away and told the police not to worry so they shouldn’t have spent any time and resources to find her (if they do) and so hey don’t sue us. If I were a cop I’d be looking to see any connection they have to Oregon since she supposedly called from an Oregon # cause that would be one way to see if this is a hoax cooked up by them.

If it is a stunt I say they did it cause they see how much money Taylor could be in for as well as the attention she is getting right now.

    Does Jean know Michaele?

Reality TV Morons Jean Keough is very worried about Michale Salahi: Jeana is imploring Michaele to: “Check in with a police department in person to verify that you are safe. There are simply too many crazy people in the world. I know you have been plagued with stalkers, and I’m extremely concerned for your safety. “Please check in with me or one of your friends, it’s just one phone call to let us know you are safe.”

Jeana has been calling Michaele’s cell phone but says that it’s now switched off. ~Source: Radar Online

  49. smompy says:

This is off topic and unimportant, especially considering that a VIP like Michaele Salahi is missing (and presumed deceitful), but has anyone here every posted a comment on the Stoopid Housewives site? I’ve posted two times now, and both time my comment appeared but then disappeared later. Once I was answering someone’s question and he more recent time I was agreeing with someone. So I don’t think I broke any rules or anything. Maybe I didn’t agree stongly enough? Oh, well.

BTW I now know what a Twitter War is ’cause I went and read through Lynn’s 3,984 comments from yesterday. And it only reinforced my view that Twitter should probably be left to teenagers and the pope. I realize that D-List celebrities use Twitter to get attention or publicity, but reading that weird little exchange between Jay and Melissa was like leafing through some 12 year old girl’s slam book. Why would mature adults engage in this kind of childishness, and why would anyone else over the age of 12 follow it with any interest? I mean, I know some people tweet funny things or share important information and so on, but that thing between Melissa and Jay was just so dumb & unimportant. And to say that either one of them “won” something? I just don’t get it. To me they oth looked like cranky children. Cranky children who can’t spell very well.

Oh, and I also read the blogs. Jay’s blog was amusing to me, although I agree the constant harping on Melissa’s voice did come off a little mean-spirited. Then again, he’s a comedian and that’s his shtick, right? I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen his standup act but I remember him on SNL. He does a fabulous Christpher Walken impression.

    • LavaLady says:

I posted on that site once when it had supposedly inside information from someone who knew Teresa and Melissa. I noted that this informant consistently spelled Paterson as Patterson, as well as having
several other geographic errors. So I doubted that they really were in the know about Teresa or Melissa (if they couldn’t get some basic facts right) but my theory was shot down immediately.

      • smompy says:

IMG I think I saw that. I wasn’t sure where it was, but yeah, I recall that someone claimed to be from “Patterson, NJ” and supposedly had insider info on the Jersey housewives. I didn’t post a comment about it myself because I didn’t know anyone there, but it occurred to me that anyone who actually lived in Paterson would probably be able to spell the town’s name correctly. Heck, even dumbass Tree spells it right. I suppose certain blogs have certain beliegs and don’t want them challenged in any way. And that’s fine by me, I guess.

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

Totally agree with you about the twitter thing. I don’t get the allure of twitter. Of course, I never talked on the phone for hours either when the phone was the mode of communication back in the day. Anything over five minutes was too long for me.

    • Buffywood says:

Count me in too as someone who doesn’t really get the whole Twitter thing. I just tried to go look at it and Twitter is down? Maybe the whole twiller world imploded on itself, one can hope.

    • emt2 says:

the owner of stoopidhousewives.com has a control complex. She edits comments all of the time and she lies and takes credit for stories that she didn’t break first. Literally, she’ll combine two articles that were previously published and say that she did the exclusive first. ???? And she will delete comments that say the contrary.

She deleted one of my comments which included a link. She said that I needed to search her site before I posted a link because 99.9999% of the time, she has already posted it. Turns out that I posted a different link and although she apologized, she still did not repost all of my original posts.

Even today (my first time visiting the site since I had a run-in with her), she has a whole thing about Taylor and a poster disagreed with her and she flipped out and edited the poster’s comments. Honestly, I think there is something wrong with the owner. Like, she might need to take a break because she comes off really deranged and crazy.

IT’s too bad because the small community is nice but it’s small because she is a delete nazi and control freak and thinks she is uncovering breaking news and is on the scene. She cuts and pastes other people’s work. WHICH IS NORMAL (lol) except she takes credit for the work as if she was the one to interview the people, take pictures, do extensive research, etc.

Don’t even worry about your comment being deleted. It makes no rhyme or reason.

Sorry for my long rant but I really dislike bloggers like that.

Thanks for sharing this info. I really knew next to nothing about that site or its owner. I’ve followed links there and enjoyed some of the postings. The disappearing comments thing was just bizarre, though. I didn’t insult anyone in any way. I never even disagreed with anyone there. One time I simply answered aquestion another commenter had asked (about an actor from a movie), and the other time I agreed with the crowd and basically LOL’d along with everyone else. And both times my comment got posted but was then suddenly removed. It’s weird! People can run their blogs/websites however they please..I honestly don’t care…but I wish they’d warn you that they’re planning to arbitrarily censor certain people for no reason. I wouldn’t have wasted my time filling out a form and answering questons if I’d known my comments were going to be tossed in the trash without warning.

The interesting news: I’ve been saying for about a year now that my bunny has a gender-identity issue. My lil boy never humped anything or did boy things. He was sexes prior to 11 weeks old and the vet pronouced he had a “wiener”. I decided to ask the other vet who is the fill-in if she would just double check. Minus stating my guy was furry, she then proclaimed she felt no “furry bunny nuts”. My boy is a girl. I feel like after 3 years someone should have said something. Like I feel I need a third opinion. Lol I went to the vet with a boy, came home with a girl. It’s like Deja vu all over again as my girl was originally sexed a boy. I see a trend here. Guess that’s why they never really “bonded”.

My parents and brother also went to the show last weekend in Atlantic City at the Borgata and met the entire group too. That show also featured Night Ranger who we got to meet before too. Very nice guys all. They actually brought their tour bus to our little town and parked it on my brother’s street to get a break from staying in hotels. Sometimes they actually look forward to home cooking. Anyway, I hope Todd sees my message soon and gets back to me.

    http://www.accesshollywood.com/real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-devastated-by-armstrongs-alleged-abuse_article_53533

    LOS ANGELES, Calif. –
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Camille Grammer, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump are speaking out about the alleged abuse of co-star Taylor Armstrong by her late estranged husband, Russell Armstrong.

“Shocking,” Lisa told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman on Wednesday when asked about graphics images of their co-star with a black eye, an injury Taylor claims was caused by the late Russell, who committed suicide last month.

“I was over at her house [approximately] three weeks after it happened, and I was devastated and upset for her that she went through this,” Camille said.

“It’s very hard to accept that, to look at that,” Lisa said of the photos that were reportedly sold to a TV show.

“Very difficult photos to look at,” Kyle added.

Lisa said she was with Taylor the same day the alleged violence took place.

“I was with her that night that all this ensued and they looked to be in a good place,” Lisa recalled. “It was very confusing, their relationship and you see that on the show… They were in a good place when I left them at 1:30 in the morning. They were in a good place, absolutely.”

Lisa explained that she was with Taylor and Russell at a party, but declined to say if the couple had been drinking. Lisa said that Taylor had to undergo surgery after the alleged incident.

Laura asked the Bravo stars about Taylor’s apparent decision to release and sell the photographs.

“That’s something you’d have to ask Taylor, but I mean, she does have a child to support,” Kyle said, referring to Taylor’s 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy.

“She has been left with this crumbling kind of deck of cards of a facade, that not only did she lose the father of her child, her support, her whole lifestyle and everything crumbled around her,” Lisa added. “So, I think we have to be supportive in whatever choices she makes.”

Camille agreed with her co-star, saying, “[Taylor] is under so much scrutiny and all we need to do is just support her as much as we can.”

Kyle added, “She’s going through so much right now.”

He isolated her from her family & friends, etc.– they came up with this exact thing.

  85. sparklemuffy says:

Ok, it’s late for Wednesday, but I want to put in my 2cents worth about RHONJ. From the things I have read from links from this site, Joe Gorga built Theresa and Joe’s house.( or helped) So that was 3-4 years ago, b/c they were moving in the first season. I think things were somewhat ok and this is where the trouble really manifested itself: They wanted to be on the show, I think Tre is “get your own gig” and they’ve been mad ever since. ( they need that $300 grand a year and M wants to be an artist, hello?)
Joe Gorga is “How ya doin’?” You have the audacity to come to my child’s christening now that my wife and I are on the show? WE DON”T NEED YOUR CHARITY—- WE”RE ON THE SHOW WITH NO HELP FROM YOU!
Melissa sings fine. AMAZING GRACE was pitiful and BTW she is not Kandi. The “recording studio”is a joke. If you’ll notice the last ” session” they have, she’s doing a sing-along with an already produced track. All the music, vocals have already been recorded. No way Soul Diggazz is going to produce in the “basement G studio” I can’t believe JM didn’t have a little discussion concerning this. I know he knows the difference, and I think his whole “downer– Joey and Melissa” is b/c he is aware that they have campaigned forever to b on the show. ( including, secret conversations w/Danielle, the evil one) They are so not cool.
K and R are worse and I think time will prove R to b a total pervert. Wait and see, there’s a reason K was trying and trying. something is ugly and wrong with them. Why do they need to be on the show?
I think Joe G is awkward. I think Joey has been a short, feminine, goober/ showboat, who has hurt Tre by withholding his love/ approval—forever and Joe is like a bull in a china shop without the words or thought to outmaneuver the camera. Joe —USE YOUR WORDS!

    • chismosa says:

I have a friend who works in sound editing with some producers and they often have the back-up track/ back up instrumental down MUCH earlier than when they ‘lay down’ the vocals live from the singer. just btw.

I think anyone on here comparing any of the non-professional singers Housewives to KANDI are missing the point. Melissa has a superior voice to her NON-PROFESSIONAL SINGER housewives. Of course Kandi has the best voice!!!

I dont get why Teresa or Jacqueline or Caroline or Danielle or any of the original girls needed to be on the show either… are they better than Kathy or Melissa by some way? Certainly not in their family-rearing skills, that’s for damn sure.

As for your last comments i just can’t pass judgement on how Joey ‘hurts’ or ‘abuses’ Tre emotionally- what from one scene at the bookstore where he asks her to speak out loud? I think Joey didn’t want Tre’s fake- “all-for-show” written inscription in her cookbook to him to count as her reconciling but for her to say the words out loud and OWN them. Tre could keep coming back to him as ‘see Joey see we made good at the bookstore don’t cha remembah? See? I wrote to you in my weird handwriting!? Remembah!??’ His demeanor was a bit forced but those Gorgas all scream and are gutteral to eachother, no? This is how these Italian jersey (not all of them of course) just plainly communicate w eachother.
I think Teresa married someone as dumb and ignorant as she is and they both went through life with blinders. Done.

      • chismosa says:

i should add that i can’t pass true judgement on Tre and Joey’s brother/sister relationship from that one scene because they of course, grew up together. They must have an odd dynamic, Tre being the oldest, clearly having her parents around her at ALL TIMES to rear her kids for her and cook for her household- so Joey and Mel don’t have his parents around as much…..
Then Tre’s parents latching onto Juicy and Juicy’s insecurities about himself and illegal activities influencing his in-laws treatment of Joey & his wife and family.
Tre is quite adored in her Gorga household if you ask me, Joey is the baby and not as much a ‘King’ as Tre is quite the ‘Queen’. I’m sure if Joey was the eldest it’d be somewhat different.

      • sparklemuffy says:

I can tell you SD didn’t record squat in that basement–that was all for show.

        • sparklemuffy says:

There’s a reason Joey’s parents are not as involved. They were mad and ugly, wait and see. I think with K there is a real fambly feud, but w/ Joey, they all applied to the RH and Melissa didn’t make the first cut and they didn’t think Tre did enough to get them on the show.
Joey was interviewed and he said when they began to have children —that was when Tre began to get jealous and competitive–then all the trouble started. Normally, I could believe that, but the timing doesn’t work if he built their house— RH does.

          • chismosa says:

oh i didnt know for sure Joey helped build that house- wow Juicy would really have a stick in his craw for Joey if that is so the case. I agree that with Kathy there there surely seems to be definite drama, and as someone who has dealt with issues stemming from great uncles who don’t speak to this cousin, etc… i get it.
But i dont see why Tre gets the golden ticket to be allowed on this show but the others in her family don’t deserve to be. I find watching her relatives more entertaining and easier to empathize with, along with better-speaking English to understand there.
It’s just crazy the entire fambly issues being brought out- but Tre can’t blame her cousin and bro for being on a show to get some $$ and some little fame. Big deal, we should all be allowed that and i would love for my brother or cousin to have what i have and prosper. But then again i care for my family.
The problem is, we all as viewers will never understand anything because production + Bravo will hide and edit to their liking. I love how on the show they use the term ‘for show’ – which ==== for THE show on tv. ha ha

            • chismosa says:

just so i’m clear- i ADORE Kathy- i’m saying the drama comes from her mother/ father and Tre’s parents, we all think as viewers so far i guess.

      • housewifeaddict says:

“I think anyone on here comparing any of the non-professional singers Housewives to KANDI are missing the point. Melissa has a superior voice to her NON-PROFESSIONAL SINGER housewives. Of course Kandi has the best voice!!!”

I’ve got to disagree. Melissa isn’t singing at a family birthday party – she’s trying to cut an album for sale – so it is fair to compare her to Kandi because she’s trying to be a professional singer. If she was singing in the shower or in the back of a limo then I wouldn’t care.

        • chismosa says:

i see what you mean, i just think her expectations are realistic. She is not going to sell ##s that Kandi has sold in her lifetime. Sure she may want to cut an album and sell it, but she knows she’s not going to be cutting albums the rest of her life and selling out arenas.

          • RabbleRouser says:

Nothing she has said on the show gives me the impression that her expectations are realistic. She thinks she is a performer and can make a living from this. It’s much more than what Simon did as a lark.

      • RabbleRouser says:

I wouldn’t say Melissa has a superior voice compared to the other housewives. Danielle and Gretchen were every bit as good as her if not better.

  86. RealMinkey says:

Why do I only pay attention to the minutiae in these shows? For instance, I’ve noticed that although Camille commits the occasional vocabulary snafu, her Grammar (hah) is pretty darned good. For instance, “I don’t move as quickly as he.”. Very much unlike the Countess Lulu, who still sounds like she’s from the other side of the tracks.

    • emt2 says:

I think that Camille went to a heavy duty charm school when she married Kelsey or before she married him.

my ex’s mother went to one in nycs when she married her ex-husband because he was a high-powered lawyer who hob-nob with the upper crust. She said it was like beauty school and college all in one. She said that she learned how to control her tongue when pronouncing certain words, how to breathe correctly during all occasions (I know, I was like wtf? lol), how to properly stand in different situations and how to have perfect grammar. To this day, her manners, speech, walk, etc. are impeccable.

      • RealMinkey says:

You could be right, because it all sounds very studied when coming from her.
Regardless of my basic feelings about her, I think she’s a pretty smart cookie.

I saw a horrifying ad on TV today, which was followed up by going to the Sears website.

The Kardashians have brought their Citadel of Skankitude to Sears, and surprise surprise, everything’s already 30% off. I’ve never seen such cheap-looking crap. These people will stick their name on anything to make a buck, and Sears is such a mess right now it’s trying to grab onto anything that will get people in the stores.

    • Nancy says:

I wouldn’t be caught dead in any of these outfits.

      • RealMinkey says:

        Nor will my kids!

        • Nancy says:

They look cheap to me. I’m really surprised that they put their name on this. I wish their mother would stop “prostituting” them out. Enough already. I keep thinking about their father and how upset he would be if he was still alive.

          • RealMinkey says:

They are a plague upon our people!

          • TLM says:

Ok, so basically all I have to do is release a sex tape of me with some rap star, show up at Hollywood parties, start dating a famous football player, leapfrog from there to dating a famous basketball player, and then in no time I’ll have my own tv show, skin care line, be a spokesperson for diet pills, have a clothing line in Sears and QVC?

            Only in America.

          • Empress of FOD Farm says:

Nancy, I’m not surprised by anything these girls do. They don’t care what we think, their target demographic is 10-15 year old girls who wear things with “Juicy” across their asses and don’t even know what that means – oh, that would mean KKB, too! Hell, Kim showed up at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut to open their bowling alley. She even tried to bowl in her 6″heels and very, very short skirt.

      • TLM says:

Their QVC stuff isn’t any better. These people are designers like I’m Christie Brinkley.

  89. Nancy says:

    Dance Moms is starting.

    • Baroness Beachcomber says:

      I’m watching Big Brother.

    • RealMinkey says:

Abby’s got an 8-year old doing a dance number about abuse and suicide?????

      • Nancy says:

I almost fainted. So friggin inappropriate.

      • TLM says:

Gee. Sounds like fun! Glad I don’t watch this show.

On the other hand, Gia did a song at a birthday party about the hideous, destructive relationship between Teresa and her brother Joe, and cried at the end, and I had the misfortune to sit through that train wreck. Twice.

Where is Child Protective Services when you need them??!?

  90. chismosa says:

Can anyone tell me where Error has been? Does he not visit here much any more? I know he was in the middle of a move, etc… But it seems very long?

  91. chismosa says:

For all the Journey lovers out there- this guy Michaele is allegedly with, he’s cute! But i dont care for Journey now that Steve Perry is not there– ? How can this band go on… I never understand how bands persevere with key members gone. Especially ‘front’ members

    • sparklemuffy says:

I heard them w/o SP and we actually left early. So not the same.

    • Buffywood says:

Journey was my first “real” concert. They did a tour back in the early 80’s and toured with Joan Jett, Brian Adams, and The Tubes. My dad got me 4 tickets but wanted me to go with “Adult” supervision as I think I was like in 7th grade. Anyway I took my friend Tom and his older sister and her boyfriend were our “Adult” supervision. Within 10 minutes of sitting down the sister’s boyfriend lit up a joint… How is that for irony?

      • RealMinkey says:

Used to be, you could barely see the stage through the smoke, and you could get high just being there. Those were the days.
I know, I know (Nancy, lol) things are safer and healthier now, but the concert experience just isn’t the same.

        • Nancy says:

          RM,
          ITA. The good old days.

          • RealMinkey says:

            It sucks now.
For instance, for my birthday a couple of years ago Mr. Minkey treated me to second row seats at a Stones concert. We were seated amongst a bunch of rich baby boomers who looked and acted like reality TV cast members, and there were people walking around serving designer water and champagne. Meanwhile, we were all locked into the place like inmates.
            How fun is that?

            • Nancy says:

You would like walking around the
              Haight Ashbury in San Francisco.
I’m too young to really appreciate it but I know all about the artists that came from it and it’s fun. I hope you have a nice vacation. Something tells me you deserve it. :) Be careful.

              • RealMinkey says:

Been to SF a couple of times, and love Haight Ashbury, but disappointed to see the chain stores have moved in. I guess that’s to be expected.
Times Square is now Disneyland, too.

I have to say that Top Chef Just Desserts is pretty cool tonight. They did a whole Willy Wonka edible room. Super cool. This season is soooo much better than last years.

  94. Dame Rhetorica says:

Dance Moms over. Maddie was beautiful, as usual. Talented little girl. I love Cathy! She was like the wicked witch in Snow White with those apples! MIA’s death drop was cool. I’m gonna do that tonite after I take my pills:)
    Off to see Just Desserts.

    • RealMinkey says:

      Love the evil Cathy.

    • Nancy says:

I’m beginning to think figure skating was a walk in the park.

      • Dame Rhetorica says:

I had some dance teachers like her. Tough, but caring. The difference is that no parents were allowed @ practice & only saw the routines during shows or competition. (if they came)

        • Nancy says:

I remember some skating moms that were over the top but nothing like Abby. She’s abusive in my opinion.
If she feels like slamming the mothers she should do it without the children there. Seriously. That can really screw with the kids heads.

        • Zoey says:

Would some teachers really talk to or treat you all like Abby does? I guess you have to push kids somewhat, but she seems extreme.

  95. Cityside says:

Rosanne Barr is talking about menopause on Roseanne’s Nuts. She is hilarious.

    • Zoey says:

I happened upon her show tonight and it was pretty funny. When you find yourself smiling during half the show, that’s an entertaining show. My son always makes fun of me and asks me, ‘Why are you smiling at the TV?’. I don’t know, it just happens! Her grandkids are a hoot!

  96. Rory B Bellows says:

rachael won. porshe second, jeff americas player…..daniel stilll nasty…….jordon got nothing………..

  97. Dame Rhetorica says:

Ewh! All those kids touching that candy before the judges!!

    • Nancy says:

What are you watching? I want some candy!!!
Are you doing your water therapy?

      • Dame Rhetorica says:

I’m watching the repeat of Just Desserts. They made a Willy Wonka world & then let kids in! The pool closed for it’s yearly maintenance & found a leak. We can go to another site but I’ve been lazy. Responded to you upthread. You were judged on artistic rep too in skating like dance. You nevet had adult themes as a kid? We did in dance; loved it:)

  98. Dame Rhetorica says:

JD off. I’ll read BB’s recap tomorrow to remind me who lost. Nite!

    OT: Re: Long Island.
I know there are some Long Islanders here. Can anyone throw out some of the names of local newspapers? I’ve been searching, but I have a feeling there are more. I found out my aunt passed away in June (which no one told me about) so I want to see the obituary. Tomorrow I’ll be calling up the Jewish cemeteries on the island to find out where she’s buried as people are being evasive with details. Any help with paper names would be great. Thanks <3

    • Nancy says:

I’m so sorry that your aunt passed away.
I’m sure the people will answer your question
tomorrow. How are you doing? Big hug.

      • Pghemtchick says:

Thanks. I’m so mad. I was actually worried about my cousins during the hurricane, and tonight mom answered the phone and he told her. I was like what the hell, I’m one of three surviving relatives as my dad is dead. And neither of my cousins both in their 60′s/50′s called. I get she’s a Jew and burial is quick, but I can drive to LI in a few hours. Grr to them I feel so cheated. The only info she got was that I’ll be receiving a certified letter/packet from the court in the next few days. Maybe I’ll have answers in there, but my aunt was an amazingly independent gypsy of a woman. At 86, she shoveled her own sidewalks in the blizzards.
Surgery is on the 5th. I’m getting nervous. I hate staying overnight in hospitals. This will be my third time. Once when I was a kid and accidentally got shot and my first foot surgery. How are you doing? How’s the sting? Did you watch AGT? I just finished running behind on everything. I was so excited with the show tonight.

        • Nancy says:

Good luck on your surgery. I hate spending the night too.
You never get any sleep! Again sorry about your aunt.
          You should have been told.
Yes I watched AGT. I am soooooooo happy because I wanted him to win. Can you imagine going from a car washer to a headline show in Las Vegas. He doesn’t have to worry anymore. He’s such a class act.
My bee sting is almost recovered. Thanks for asking.

    • Nancy says:

      Aren’t you having surgery soon?

    • Lillybee says:

Two Long Island papers that I used to read are the Long Island Press and Newsday.

    • chismosa says:

Not sure if you’ll see this but Newsday is the biggest Long Island paper, then i think there’s a Long Island Press?
Otherwise, people then go to Daily News, The NY Post, The NY Times, Wall Street Journal.

      • chismosa says:

woops didn’t see Lillybee’s response over there, duplicated.

Also, my condolences for your loss

        • vilzvet says:

Newsday and only Newsday, really. It’s one of the Top 10 newspapers in the country too. That’s where the obit would have been for sure.

  106. sparklemuffy says:

good morning everyone. Lynn, The Ramona Interview (TRI)–well done! Can’t wait to hear more. I have a technical question about Russell and Taylor. They were in the process of being sued for collecting $ for a company . They spent the $, isn’t that a type of embezzlement, larceny, just plain old stealing? And wouldn’t they eventually be brought up on some sort of criminal charges? Just wondering

  107. emt2 says:

    Morning.

Even though I detest Diane Diamond, she wrote an interesting article about the Armstrongs. I feel bad for Mrs. Wile, a woman from the Chicago area who invested with them only to be duped. She raises money in order to send Jewish groups on charity missions to places like New Orleans, Haiti, etc.

  108. emt2 says:

I guess Kyle and Lisa are still good friends despite what we see on T.V. and in their appearances. But, I do wonder. Lisa seemed pretty upset about her relationships on the show in the media up until Russell’s death.

“@supah_shawny: @KyleRichards18 are you and @LisaVanderpump still close friends or have your friendship change?” Still close! LOVE Lisa

    • Kansas Girl says:

She’d kind of have to say that, wouldn’t she? It makes me wonder if Lisa LOVEs Kyle. And what they’d say privately versus twitter.

      • emt2 says:

I agree that Kyle had to say that but she could have ignored it. She certainly doesn’t answer many tweets that ask about her relationship with Kim. Kyle rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

Today is Lisa’s birthday, by the way!
