Superbowl Sunday is winding down, are you ready to overdose on Housewives this week? Tonight the Atlanta Housewives continue their trip to South Africa then tomorrow night Lisa continues to be tortured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part II. Finally on Tuesday, Orange County will debut with it’s season opener.
It’s a Housewives extravaganza!
First things first…tonight Atlanta meets South Africa without Kim. Kim is back home struggling to care for her baby without any help from her husband who is away at NFL Training Camp. (such problems! Poor Kim!) Kim’s assistant Sweetie wasn’t hired to be a nanny or a housekeeper so most likely she’s not going to be a whole lot of help with the baby or with keeping the house clean. 
Kim has already made some comments about Sweetie stepping up to help around the house but best we can tell she’s talking to the wrong people! Kim’s telling viewers in her talking head interview and she told Kroy at their romantic dinner that she needs Sweetie to help with the baby and with the household chores but the one person she hasn’t told is Sweetie! I think that lack of communication is what will end this working relationship between Kim and Sweetie…we’ll see.
The rest of the Housewives are in South Africa and they’re leaving the luxury of their amazing hotel to head out into the wild to visit the animals in the bush, they’ll also visit an orphanage and bring them much needed supplies. Well done Bravo, I’m glad you included this footage in the Housewives South African vacation.
Let’s hope the ladies can get along during this important visit and not show the ugly American side that they’ve been showing so far during this trip. I wonder if Marlo will ensure that the tour guide will call her if any of the cute young children go home early. She’s such a nightmare, honestly!

Adrienne Maloof has posted her blog, let’s see what she has to say for herself:
I suppose if you gather a group of women who have just spent a tumultuous few months together, it’s never going to be completely pleasant when you start to dissect how the relationships unfolded. I wasn’t expecting it to be an easy reunion, but at the end of the day, I knew the most important thing for all of us would be honesty.
Yes, honesty is very important Adrienne but petty jealousy isn’t really all that important, you could have left that at home!
Over the last two years, you have seen me in some great moments and in some tough ones. The one thing that has always worked for me is to be straight up. It’s not always an easy choice to just lay things on the line, especially when you’re telling someone you care about that you feel hurt or vulnerable because of their actions. I’ve been fortunate in that people usually view me as being strong, but I’m human too and I also have those moments of being sensitive.
To be honest in the last two years we’ve mostly seen Adrienne do absolutely nothing, if this is you being “straight up”, you can stay home too! Please don’t pretend to care about Lisa now, it only makes you look ridiculous!
Please remember you only see a fractional portion of our lives and our relationships. There were moments occurring behind the scenes as well that were causing hurt feelings amongst all of the ladies. That being said, I didn’t think it was an irresolvable situation by any means. When you put it into perspective, there are real issues that people are struggling with in today’s society. This was something that I considered to be a minor bump in the road, and I expected we’d move on from all of this once we talked about it.

shown on screen. I have to call BS on that because if there were things that happened more substantial than Lisa calling her dog “Crackpot” and saying “The Maloof Hoof” I know and Adrienne knows, Bravo would have shown it. By the way, saying “Villa Cacka” was the most cringe-worthy moment of part one of the reunion so congratulations Adrienne, you looked like a damn fool.
So I felt that clearing the air was worth it, for all of us. This is an amazing group of women who are far better off enjoying each other’s company than fighting.
Ultimately, those who know me also know that resolution was always my goal. What I have taken from all of this is that maybe my approach was too direct in this situation, and in the future there will be times when a softer approach is a better idea. I value my friendship with Lisa, and I’m looking forward to moving on in a positive direction with all of my fellow ‘Wives — who I truly think are brilliant, talented, and beautiful.
Good luck with that positive direction Adrienne! Calling Lisa a liar on national television might be easy for you to move on from but I have a feeling that Lisa isn’t going to forget anytime soon. Oh and for the record, an apology typically would be called for here.
Just as importantly, I am fortunate to have fans who inspire me on a daily basis. Thank you for all of the kindness and support you have given me throughout this entire Housewives experience.
You may have a “fan” or two Adrienne but they’re dwindling quickly, your behavior was atrocious and it’s reflected in the Tweets that you’ve been reading daily. Your continued efforts to “put it behind” you and “move on from here” aren’t going to deflect from your attacks on Lisa.

Real Housewives of Orange County
The California girls will be back on Tuesday, are you ready for this? I’m not! The Orange County Housewives appeared recently at The Grove in Los Angeles to promote the show.
The National Ledger reports:
The surgically enhanced reality TV beauties stormed the The Grove in Los Angeles.
The ladies didn’t do any interviews, Bravo clearly didn’t trust them to actually speak, apparently their appearance there alone was to attract the press and create a buzz. Trouble is, I haven’t seen it anywhere else except The National Ledger. I only found it because the article included a link to my blog discussing the Beverly Hills Housewives and the interviews with Brandi and Kyle.
Apparently Los Angeles isn’t all that impressed by the Orange County Housewives?

For Adrienne’s ridiculous, childish and unfounded attacks on Lisa including the “crackpot” and “Maloof Hoof” comments. Watch Adrienne in this video:
It’s absolutely sickening the way Adrienne tries to get back at Lisa with her ”Villa Cacka” comment which was obviously pre-planned and sounded ridiculous! For her asinine continued pleading with viewers to “put it behind you” and “move on”.
For her deflection remarks “there are more important things in the world to deal with” and Tweeting about her children which is so obviously her attempts at getting viewers to stop pointing out the obvious to Adrienne.
For openly supporting her chef Bernie as he attacks her so called friend for no reason and Adrienne refuses to support Lisa while this man sells stories to tabloids about her friends. Hopefully Adrienne’s dinner guests will be careful not to criticize the food at her house, in fact they better just kiss Bernie’s ass or they just might find some fake story about themselves in the tabloids the next day!
For

NEVER wear a size too small. Too-small clothes may make you feel better because you’ve squeezed yourself into a smaller size, but you will look terrible. It creates back fat bulges, stomach fat bulges, and other unsightly bulges you want to avoid like the plague. Do NOT do it. Size is not important, fit is. And if you want to pretend you are a size 8 instead of a 10, you will suffer as a result.

I wonder if I’m alone in not liking the half time show. Madonna is in her 50′s dressing like a cheerleader!?!?!?! Michelle what is your take on her outfit! All this lip synching nonsense is annoying. I get it she’s a performer not a singer. But still put some effort into it! Too sad I really like her growing up but lately she’s been a miss.
Michelle is from NY. And I agree the half time show was not that good, but I think it’s the buildup to it that makes us expect too much. I’m sure those in the stadium were thrilled. It’s always better live.

I can’t stand football it bores me to tears! The only sports I enjoy watching are basketball and hockey. That other sport “baseball” same category as football.
Sorry, but I like them all except Hockey. I’m pretty much a sports nut. I like college and pro baseball, college and pro football, and college basketball. I do not like pro basketball, though. And my all time favorite is college softball, because my daughter played it and now coaches it.
I’ve heard many people compare pro basketball to a bad endless daytime soap. I guess I like fast paced sports. I don’t mind watching rugby either.
Well, I can watch golf, so I can watch paint dry. Lol.

I was expecting/hoping her to do all of her classic songs with a modern twist or beat to them.. It could’ve been awesome.. Altho I am so thankful she didnt have her boobies hanging out.. I was super disappointed with the halftime show.. her dancing.. song choices.. And the creepy guy bouncing on that wire!! lolol I laughed soo hard as the guys watching at my house all cringed at that.. it was soooo weird.. Plus only 4 good commercials.. clearly 350$ per parking spot makes it so they can put shitty commercials on

Aww, sorry..been there. I was surprised, my 3 y/o went to bed without a fuss and my 1 y/o was asleep on the couch by 8:15.
It’s all good… Up until about 6 months ago she took two naps, one from 10-12 and then from 3-5. She has been phasing them out (which I don’t mind because my schedule is much more flexible when she’s awake) but she now tends to want to take a nap starting between 3 & 4. I don’t mind it but I won’t let her sleep past 5:30 so I often have to wake her up (not pleasant). And she is definitely a “couch napper”, she hasn’t napped in her bed in a long while.
One last thing–RHOV eek! Vancouver is one of my favorite cities, I hope we get the episodes here.

Pamela Anderson came out of Vancouver. I’m sure they can find a half dozen women that – well – don’t act Canadian.
I think at the end of the day most of these women are good people. It really don’t think Adrienne is bad and Lisa is good. The both have good points and they both have flaws. The same goes for the rest of the cast – for the most part. Kyle, Brandi, Camille, Dana. They all have good cores inside. Taylor is a bad apple, core and all. So is Cedric. They are playing a totally different game than the others.
Couldn’t agree more if I had said it myself.
I will not judge them as good or bad, I do not really know them. I feel a core issue is more a matter of personal taste and morals. Most of today’s entertainment does not really demand a moral compass. All of us humans have good and bad traits, it is what makes us human. We are all a work in progress. I wonder if reality TV is the place to show case ones moral journey. With people, places and things like Andy Cohen, Bravo and NBC in charge of the final product, I think the answer would be NO! IMO.

I just thought she looked slow and not very energetic. Of course, she’s not a youngun, but if she’s going to do a routine that ambitous she needs to bring it. Exactly BB!! That’s exactly what I thought of Madonna’s performance. It just felt off. Like (please don’t hate me) she is too old for that routine. (ok now duck!!!) No offense to those 50 and older!
AGREED! She was a half a second off but it was SO obvious. Especially doing the running man with FLAO. Her legs looked like puppets.
LOL!! puppet legs!! NBC showed snippets this morning. You can see she is struggling with that physically demanding routine. I just don’t get why they didn’t glam her up and forget the dancing just something simple.
ITA! Madonna (and her circus) nailed that halftime show – in fact, her exit from the stage gave me goosebumps. Cee Lo was icing on the cake!
The only thing that was bad to me, was the feature appearance of whatshername the rapper with the big butt and thighs. Even TeenMinkey thinks she’s skanky and gross.
ITA – MIA was a very poor choice to use when showcasing female rappers.
ITA, too. I really liked it and I am not a big fan of Madonna. I was even thinking she would be fun to see in concert! I love that she is older and still strutting her stuff. Age is just a number and kudos to her for looking fabulous.
I’m not a fan of Madonna’s either and loved it. Especially Peace at the end. Made me tear up.
I do not like Madonna but she did a good job last night. Not a great one. I think bands are better at the Super Bowl, they can sing live and it sounds OK. Madonna can not sing, to begin with, so she is already at a disadvantage. It is also better if the band or artist is already on tour and ready to go. Madonna looked like she had been woken from a long and deep sleep. She did not phone the performance in, but it was a bit lackluster and charmless. The song choices did not help the process either. IMO.
Great choice for butthat! Are we going to get pics from the brunch? Sad that Cusi could not make it.

I completely forgot to take photos, we were so busy talking and eating that we didn’t take any. I even took out my sister’s camera so she could take photos and she stuck it in her purse…LOL Next time!

My other observation from the reunion is that both Kelsey and Russell seemed to have loathed the women they married. It’s no secret that Camille was a dancing (cough) girl that did soft po&n and is rumored to have partied heavily with the rich and famous arab set. Kelsey was in a bad place – drugs – alcohol – and whatever he needed she provided. But it was a My Fair Lady story. He changed her from head to toe to fit in with the image he had in his mind for a wife. But it was never enough for him (based on her comments). Who knows what he really wanted.
It seems that Russell also loathed Taylor but needed a fellow grifter. But she could never stick with the plan and he kept getting mad. Unlike Camille who probably was just a very pretty girl that fell into the wrong crowd – Taylor is broken inside somehow and will continue on this path.
Been thinking that RHBH was Kelsey’s big FU to Camille – he told her how to act, etc. I’m glad she turned around fan perception this season. Kelsey, sadly, is still a raging asshat.
I think that Camille knew exactly what she married and was committed to the power wife marriage until the last 2 years or so. Her role no longer worked for her and he no longer needed her attention. The marriage was no longer healthy for either of them. A person like Kelsey always needs someone to lord over, so the hunt was on, he found someone and extricated Camille from his personal life. He even used her for the Tony Awards, one more time for the road. Not very nice… but Kelsey has proven to be, not very nice.
Totally off topic but has anyone seen the news about Josh Powell, his wife disappeared 2 years ago in December 2009? He blew up his house with his 2 young sons in it! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
That would remove all doubt that he murdered his wife (not that I had any.)
I know there are a lot of people off their rocker but I just can’t believe he would murder his own children. So very sad

I’ll have to go back and read it. I just heard about it and was shocked. I had read in the last couple days that he had been denied regaining custody of his boys and was grateful to hear that. You just never know what is going on in a person’s mind.

I live in Seattle and we a not happy about this at all. One mistake that seems to have been made is that the children were starting to remember what happened the night of the mom’s disappearance. This might have been the time to separate these children from the father. I also thing in court actions of this kind, the visits should be in a very public place, not in the suspects home.
Hi Lynn, Long time reader first time commenter. I love your stuff! I can’t help but say how much I agree with you and your irritation at the wives/lebrities when they say 1. You don’t see everything and 2. There are more important things in the world. Uh, hello? If 1. is true, then I guess you better explain to me what exactly IS going on. Or, if 2., then I guess I’d better stop watching YOUR show! Honestly, similar to what Andy says, they’re better off keeping their mouths shut and taking it; I, and the fans, did not make them do a show.

Thanks, folks. It just makes me so mad when these people talk to us like we’re idiots! Like Kyle saying that the only reason people perceived the ganging up on Lisa was because of Brandi’s statements (that she was invited to a pre-reunion meeting). Um, I could have been living under a rock ’til watching that reunion and still been able to tell that Lisa was getting thrown under the bus. With friends like that….

Lisa has been thrown under the buss all season. Usually it was Lips McGee doing the driving and leaving the tire tracks on Lisa’s back. The rest had their moments of course. The only one I could see that didn’t participate in a season long Lisa bashing Was Brandi. My only question for Her is, if she Knew about this ‘meeting’, did she tell Lisa about it?

I have an unreasonable hate for Madonna. I don’t like her, I think she is pretentious with her fake British accent. And my biggest complaint is that she needs to cover her crotch!!! So I was not happy that she was doing the half time show… Well, I thought the half-time show wasn’t bad…. She had on a skirt and that made me happy cuz no crotch! I thought she looked like she was having a good time. I did like the way she disappeared at the end. It might be that I liked it because she disappeared

I’m really surprised by the number of twitter followers that some have when compared to others. Since I only subscribe to one twitter feed I wonder if many of them have followers that were purchased a la she who must not be named or if some don’t have many followers as they either don’t tweet much of every tweet is an advertisement.
With respect to Sweetie no longer being in Kim’s employ, we see conflict but I wonder if that’s not drummed up for the show. I got the impression that Kim moved pretty far from her townhome and with Atlanta traffic being notoriously bad I wonder if geography was more of a factor. RA’s sister has at some point come out and said that she doesn’t believe Russell’s death was actually suicide (I don’t necessarily believe it either). So what does Lips have to spew to that? Well, Since she was a meth addict and in and out of rehab for 5 of the 6 years Lips was torturing RA, how would she know anything about it (paraphrasing a bit here).

I just read the article online today that said the social worker brought the boys to the house and the boys went in and when she tried to enter he blocked her and locked the door. She called her supervisor and said she smelled gas and then the house exploded. It didn’t say what happened to her. I am assuming that this is the guy that said he went camping at 2am and didn’t know where the wife was. Oh, the grandparents also said the kids were becoming more verbal and the one said they went camping and Mommy was in the trunk…… I will find the article….

Love this! I have also wondered why her therapist never contacted authorities regarding this alleged abuse. Isn’t it a crime not to do so because if indeed Russell was abusing Taylor and they have a child, then the child is in harm’s way. That has never made any sense to me.
I do believe Taylor is using this abuse story to also set herself up to try to manipulate her way out of the criminal matters she is facing regarding fraud.
Who changes their name multiple times anyway? That alone speaks volumes.
Now that Taylor’s book is out I think Russell’s family are circling the wagons and Russell’s attorney is John Wayne. I hope they take Taylor/shana whoever she is to the cleaners and expose her for what she is….a pathological liar.

I was watching the clips too and was struck by Taylor’s comment that 3 women die each day from DV. It felt like she was trying to use statistics in her favor for dramatic purposes to prove she has personal knowledge on the subject but one little Google search and up comes this information. Sounds more like she was doing Google research for her fraudulent abuse claims than actually knowing this information from experience. I wonder if we Googled abuse stories if they would start showing up as verbatim to what Taylor claims happened to her.
You could probably bank on it. That woman absolutely disgusts me. Jill, Nene, Kyle, and Adrienne Combined (of the ones I’ve watched) don’t come close to the BS of Lips McGee.
Winston… I have …and they are out there… I think IF I ever had the chance to talk to taylor face to face i would ask her detailed questions about her alledged broken eye socket/.surgery….. and of course how “quickly” she recovered from it….. LOL
Dang..I forget to add this…her abuse claims… I still say she read “case” files at the DV shelter and got her “stories” from there….who knows..maybe she even lifted an x ray or two to sell to ET….
There was a post on Q’s site by a DV survivor and she said the same thing about Taylor getting her stories from others at the shelter she volunteered at.
I can’t say for certain that Taylor was or wasn’t a vistim of DV. But the fact that her stories may be eerily similar to those of others isn’t evidence that she wasn’t. I have participated in support groups and am always surprised at how common the experiences frequently are.
MAMAZ the post was really detailed. I know we don’t really know what happened but this victim spoke of the constant hiding of bruises on her body. Wearing long sleeves, hats and sunglasses. Far cry from what we have seen in Taylor’s wardrobe.
I really haven’t heard any stories other than the pizza story. And I’ve heard variations of that hundreds of times. And experienced a few myself.
I’m not defending her. I am just torn over the possibilty that she may have been a genuine victim deserving of support or a liar exploiting the very real pain of thousands of women.
I understand. It is almost sad either way. If she was or if she is making this all up. Really sad.

LOL all those thousands of posts on their Bravo blogs pretty much mirrors what has been said here. Lisa definately is the most popular RHBH in both volume and content.

Adrienne’s are almost all negative and Kyle has a few more positive ones but hers are also overwhelmingly negative. They both have lost a lot of fans this season.
One thing I don’t understand about this new Taylor/DV Crusader thing is, what’s her advice? Wait until your husband kills himself? She stuck around until the gravy train was stopping, she never actually really left for any reason other than the show and it’s so obvious. Its even more insulting she was so called consulting/speaking as a ‘look at me, I survived dv in my childhood and now i’m rich in bh’ when she was allegedly going through it. Who is her audience? Does she think DV ppl are stupid?

And what I find so frustrating is that all these television shows where she is appearing don’t question a thing, the interviewers just take her at her word and sit there nodding sympathetically. Don’t they do any investigative background work on the people they are interviewing anymore? I can see a small portion of Joe Public being that gullible, but these are supposed to be intelligent people who are interviewing her. I just don’t get it. Even if Everything she is saying is true, who is this benefitting other than Taylor and her bank account? She is profiting from her husband’s suicide. It sickens me.
This is what bothers me the most about Taylor. If what she’s saying is true it is important to tell her story without exploiting what happened. I don’t get the impression that she is trying to tell a cautionary tale as much as she is trying to profit.
Seriously..What I don’t understand is why did she have to write things about him that he can’t defend. Ok..write a book about dv but don’t crucify your dead husband.
Taylor was just on ET…she says that she had DROOPY EYE LID SURGERY…LOL

If she made this all up for sympathy and to avoid prosecution for fraud she will burn in the pits of hell. And I think she risks alienating her daughter as she grows and learns the truth.
But what about RA history of abuse? and the text Lisa saw? I believe Kyle would lie for Taylor but Lisa?
Having not been believed myself I hate questioning another woman’s claims. On the other hand if she’s lying it hurts the credibilty of all DV victims as well as the other surviving members of RA’s family

There was something “off” on Taylor on The View. Something about her affect that seemed odd to me. I have a feeling she isn’t going to come to a good end–someone or something is going to blow the lid off of this. I just hope Kennedy is safe.

I agree, and I sensed the hosts were uncomfortable with her.
Except maybe Hasselbeck, but even she seemed like she didn’t know how to deal with the “Taylor” non-tears tears punctuating the end of her appearance.
Was Taylor already seating at the table when they started interviewing her? Usually guests walk to the stage, I wonder if she was boed or they did not want to take any chances and have her seating ready for the interview.

It’s kind of like when the cheating, suspicious husband continually accuses the wife of cheating, because he’s such a slimeball (or vice versa). I think Kyle lashes out at what she actually sees in herself, if that makes sense.
